Wow...I want to go! What did you do on the mission field?
I love Russia. In fact, in college I took a Russian History course, read all about the history of the people. Have you heard of the Christian writer Michael Phillips? He wrote a Russian series. I enjoyed it so much! Also, what is your belief on the daughter Anastasia? What is the general belief there about what happened to her?
My senior year in high school, I was the editor of our high school paper and got to interview the Russian delegation (1988) who came to oversee the destruction of missiles at a nearby town. They also came and watched our football game against Odessa Permian, which you will see in the movie "Friday Night Lights." We were the Marshall Mavericks and the game was noontime on a Saturday. The delegation had special seats and said the game was quite "violent" in my interview. By the way, we really won that game, even though the movie says we didn't :)
